CONTROL STATION AND CONTROL WEIGHING SYSTEM
The system is easy to configure as a ready-to-use
automatic control station via its user interface, which runs
on a normal PC.
In addition to functioning as a control station,
the system can be used as a normal control weighing system,
allowing the monitoring of waggon loads by customer and by
product. Information on standard waggons (customer, product,
maximum load, tare weight ) can be retrieved based on waggon
number. Users can also print out reports they have defined
by customer and by product.
WAGON IDENTIFICATION
Waggon identification by radio signals
(RFID) - SCALEX WID
The Scalex WID waggon identification system is based on
data collectors attached to the waggons and on read/write
heads installed on the track or beside the track. Data can be
read and written on the move.
Waggon identification by bar codes
In this system the bar codes attached to
waggons are read by a portable hand-held bar-code reader.
Information is then transferred to the Scalex-Weighing System.
An economical and a flexible way to identify waggons.
Waggon identification by video - SCALEX VIDEO
ID
With the SCALEX VIDEO ID-system waggon numbers
can be identified, for example in the control tower, and there
is no longer any need to send someone outside. The data is
transferred automatically into the weighing program that is
running on the computer. If needed, live images
may be consulted by a distant operator via the Internet. The
system is capable of recording
the images of a large number of waggons and, when equipped
with halogen lights, is also able to identify waggon numbers
at night.
Options of the SilverPoint+ system:
- side load detection
An important feature that improves safety, this can also be
retrofitted.
- wagon identification for radioactivity control systems
- user interface of the control-and weighing system integrated
into the customer´s own information system
- wireless data transfer between weighing electronics and
Pc
- remote use, service and software upgrading
- service and maintenance contract
