Their users determine the lengths and capacities of our weighbridges. The standard lengths are 8 – 28 meters. We manufacture tailor-made bridge lengths for special vehicles according to customers’ individual needs.

The scales are always installed in the way that best suits a customer’s requirements. The scale can be installed in three ways: it can be surface-mounted, slope-mounted or installed in a pit. Our experience and product development ensure that installation itself is easy: the process, including calibrations, takes 1 – 5 days.

Tamtron Systems Oy has two material solutions to the scale bridges: Scalex 1000 is made of steel and the Scalex 1001 bridge is made of reinforced concrete. All our scale types are safe, reliable and user-friendly. They can be fitted with heating, railings and other accessories. The terrain conditions, the type of vehicles and the prevailing conditions of use determine the bridge material and the method of installation.

Tamtron Systems Oy scales have a modular type approval from the EU and also from many other countries. All our truck scale systems are designed to the commercial weighing.

Scalex DW 600 dynamic axle scale

Scalex DW 600 is an axle scale, which weighs a truck dynamically one axle at a time. As a truck drives over the weighbridge, the scale automatically weighs each axle separately, and prints out the separate axle weights and the total weight. Scalex DW 600 is easy to install and has Finnish type approval based on the international standards.

Weighing is more than scales

Drivers who do not have an identity card can weigh their vehicles by using the Scalex 5000 outdoor terminal keyboard. If a driver who has an ID card wants to change the information on it that is easy to do with the terminal’s keyboard. Scalex outdoor terminal series have two models: alphanumerical and numerical keyboard. Both keyboards are vandal proof. In the terminal box is an own heating system so that it could use also in very cold winter conditions.
The weighing receipt is printed out from the outdoor terminal’s printer.

Scalex ID identity card system

With the Scalex ID system, drivers take care of the weighing without getting out of their vehicles. The card is shown to the reader installed on the side of the bridge, the vehicle is weighed and that is all. The system is especially well suited to weighing regular client vehicles. If other vehicles, which are not regular clients, come to the scale, then it pays to expand the identity card system with outdoor terminal.

Scalex 5000 – outdoor terminal series

Scalex 2200 does not have a hard drive or disk drive either of them, which could be damaged by dust or vibration. Scalex 2200 contains broad reporting specifications and can be connected by means of a data transmission line to the subscriber’s computer as required.

Scalex Pro and Scalex Eko – heavyweight data processing

The Scalex program that we have developed for weighing vehicles employs a database into which weighing data are entered: customer register, standard vehicles, products, etc.

The weighing PC can be added to a customers’ network. There are no practical limits to an amount of data, such as the number of weighed vehicles that can be fed into the files. The program enables you to form reports and it can be controlled with a mouse, arrow keys or quick key combinations, as you wish.

Multilevel user’s rights prevent the unauthorised use of weighing information.

There are two different PC programs in Scalex series: the standard truck scale program Scalex Pro and Scalex Eko, which has been specially developed for the reception of waste and takes into account requirements of waste management law.
